Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Tesla Lock Chime Config app (referred to as “the App”) for Android devices, created by Phoenix Rise Enterprises (“the Developer”). This App is provided free of charge and is intended for use as-is.

Information Collection and Use

The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or any other information about you or your device. The Developer does not operate any servers that receive data from the App, and there are no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services integrated into the App.

File System Access

The App requests permission to access your device’s file system for the following purposes, all of which are performed entirely on-device:

• Browsing files: to allow you to browse and select files from within the App.
• Auto-detection of external storage: to automatically detect connected external storage (such as USB drives or SD cards) so the App can locate relevant files without requiring you to navigate to them manually.
• Metadata insertion: the App may write metadata into files it processes, for the purpose of later identifying or organizing those files. This metadata is stored only within the file itself, on your device or connected storage.
• Format conversion (transcoding): the App may convert (transcode) audio files into the WAV format as required for the App’s functionality. This conversion happens locally on your device.

None of the files accessed, modified, or converted by the App — nor any metadata inserted into them — are uploaded, copied, or transmitted to the Developer or any third party. All file processing described above takes place exclusively on your device or the external storage you connect to it, and never leaves your control as a result of using this App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services that collect information used to identify you.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, as it does not collect information at all.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
